Another Time Tracker?

TickTrac is built by me, for me, @kristoffbertram, a freelance designer-developer from Antwerp, Belgium.
Its original use was a personal one. Being discouraged by today’s (well intended) offering of time trackers, like developers do—I set out to create something that would fit my needs. I eventually realised I should share my work, in the belief that others may benefit too. (Which, as it turns out, it does.)

With TickTrac, I track (and edit) my time, whichever-however,
and export it for further processing, whenever.
Now, you can too. No fuzz.

TickTrac is free for personal use.

And will remain so. You can get to work right now-no questions (or data) asked. To encourage development, I will offer a feature-driven donation system, aimed at teams and companies.
Of course, if you find TickTrac is right for you, or want to support me as a developer, I welcome your contribution. If not, that’s fine too.
More for teams, including a roadmap will be available soon.

Out your way, use it your way

Name, categorise and tag your work. Or don’t. Right away, or not. No jolting, no judging, just tracking.

Efforts envisioned

Frequently Asked Questions

As TickTrac grew out of a personal need, I’ve never identified a want for growth or monetisation. Of course, as a freelance builder, I enjoy the traction my app is receiving. Nonetheless, I prefer to have it stick to its initial principle: No Fuzz Time Tracking for a Freelancer.
When you use TickTrac (whether you’ve chosen to sign up or not), your session data is identified by a hashed string, stored inside a cookie. It is likely this cookie, unique and tied to your device, was removed. At this stage, I cannot offer any real means of support. If you really, truly require access to your data, please write at email@kristoffbertram.be.
Tags are passed along to the export results and are currently for your own records only. I do recommend properly tagging your sessions as I intent to offer more means of filtering and exporting.
Full account management will be available soon.
I am live-building this app in my free time. While I pay great care and attention to releasing fully working builds, inevitably something goes unseen. An overview of updates is available here and will be shared on Twitter.
